hey yallllll!!
the start of my photography career actually came from my drone storytelling class. this was the only class that i originally was not able to get fully online—it was hybrid. but the professor just happened to be my favorite professor of all time, who i had in my social media class. i rang him up and asked if i invested in my own drone if i could take the class fully online instead of hybrid. he agreed. YAAY! so with the money i had saved up from work, i bought the mini DJI 3 pro.

from there, i started talking with erica about whether i should invest in a basic camera to travel with. she recommended the fujifilm xt5 with a 35mm lens. this was/is/will be my favorite camera ever. i love the aesthetic it shoots in and how easy it is to use. for my birthday last year, i gifted myself the tamron 20-70mm lens. i usually shoot with my tamron lens because i have a bigger range and can get more depth of field with it.
next, i got the DJI handheld osmo with mics. this has been so fun to use for vlogging with my friends and shooting quick clips. the quality is actually super good, but i will say it’s in a weird in-between—not super high-quality but definitely better than iphone quality.
i was cleaning out my room one day and found two vintage film cameras that my aunt gave me when we were cleaning my granny’s house. i’ve played around with them a few times, but this is something i definitely want to get more into this year because, well, i just love the grainy, film, vintage look.
from there, i got my big back, my canon eos r5. i love this camera so much. i only got it three months ago, so i am still learning the ins and outs of it and how to really work it. i have multiple lenses to go with it, including a 15mm, 35mm, 24-70mm, 50mm, and 70-200mm. i also have a flash for it, which has come in handy.
so yeah that is what i shoot with and some of my opinions! THANK YOU!
