hey y'all!!
yes. i'm from texas. yes, we actually say y'all. yes, i love it here!
now that we have that out of the way, my name is paige melcher, & i am from a small town just west of san antonio called kerrville. i graduated in may 2024 from texas state university in san marcos with a major in public relations and a minor in communications while focusing on social media & web design. i thought i would study biology to become a marine biologist. that dream was short-lived, so i changed my major to PR- thank God. this is where my brain was picked and then later sparked to start creating.
it all started in my code class, where i learned to code my own website from scratch. here. one of the most challenging classes i took, but i am so grateful i did. from there, i took a social media, web design, drone class, and a photography class. in all my years of college, these were the classes i actually looked forward to going to.
i actually had a job working at a winery in fredericksburg, where i asked if they could use some help with their social media. this is where i met my mentor, friend, and my favorite cat- pancho. she... not pancho- erica is her name- was running everything marketing at signor, she needed the help, and i was happy to learn all that i could and help in every way she needed me. this is where i saw that i could turn my passion for creating into a career.
and now i am here, almost two years later, traveling, working, learning, and growing. THANK YOU ERICA!!!
